Auxano church is going to be a field hospital. And in a field hospital, it’s not always pretty. There’s blood, there’s burns, there’s horrible sights, but there’s healing. It’s time the church stops playing “church” and becomes what it should be. It’s time we let the Holy Spirit do what he wants to do in people.

If church makes you a little uncomfortable, that’s good. Ask God to change your heart. Ask God to make you a nurse or a doctor. Or maybe you’re a patient and you need healing. This is the place. God’s spirit will heal you, heal your heart, and then you can go out and labor and help heal others, by God’s grace.

We humbly admit we don’t know what we’re doing, but we know God does. We know we aren’t smart or talented enough to run a church. No one is. God needs to the run and lead the church. Every decision needs to be brought to him in prayer.
