"The Chief Cornerstone"

The Chief Corner Stone scriptures“The stone which the builders rejected Has become the chief cornerstone” Psalm 118:22 “And (the church is) built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone.” Ephesians 2:20 KJVTherefore, to you who believe, He is precious; but to those who are disobedient,“The stone which the builders rejected Has become the chief cornerstone” 1 Pet 2:7He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his own received him not. John 1:10,11.“9 For we are laborers together with God; you are God’s field, you are God’s building. 10 According to the grace of God which was given to me, as a wise master builder I have laid the foundation, and another builds on it. But let each one take heed how he builds on it.  11 For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, each one’s work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one’s work, of what sort it is.If anyone’s work which he has built on it endures (meno), he will receive a reward. If anyone’s work is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.” 1 Cor. 3:9-15He will sit as a refiner(‘s fire) and a purifier of silver; He will purify the sons of Levi, And purge them as gold and silver, That they may offer to the LORD an offering in righteousness. Malachi 3:3Jesus said in John 15:4 “Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can you, except you abide (meno) in me. 5 I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides (meno) in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.”  17 You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain(meno).”Hosea 14:8 NLT says, “all your fruit comes from me.” “And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever–the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.” John 14:16-18 Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you. John 16:74 “And being assembled together with them, He commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the Promise of the Father, “which,” He said, “you have heard from Me;8 But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me  in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” Acts 1:4,8. Jesus said “He will take of mine and declare it to you!” John 16:15. “(He is) the brightness of (God’s) glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,” and “Your throne, O God, is forever and ever; A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom.” and “Sit at My right hand, until I make Your enemies Your footstool”? Heb 1:3,8,13 “if you’ve seen Jesus, you’ve seen the Father!””I will build My church, and the gates of Hell shall not prevail against it.” Matt 16:18 For he (Abraham) looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.Heb 11:10“There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest. This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest. Joshua 1:5,7-9”
