Jesus said that his death and resurrection would affect a fundamental shift about our relationship to God. That it would change from being external to being internal. Jesus said, "You will understand I'm in the father, but I'm in you and you're in me. We are one in the spirit." That's the new birth. It's not religion.
Jesus said, "I've come that they may have life and that they may have it more abundantly." More abundantly means beyond measure, overflowing, more than you need. Are you living in the overflowing life Jesus promised you? Or are you feeding on empty counterfeits, leaving you dry and unsatisfied inside?
believing in Jesus as the only way to God and the source of truth and life.
spiritual rebirth and eternal life through faith in Jesus Christ is emphasized in the passage.
